Role Summary

Newly created due to growth within Consilium, we are seeking a Broker Support to come and join our Financial Lines department. You will be working on some exciting projects internationally. You will be covering various products such as Assets Management, Capital Markets, D&O, Professional Indemnity, Fintech, Cyber, Crime and covering this across various territories.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the ProEx Division

  • Working with colleagues to ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments and general enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner

  • At all times, consider the effect of any actions taken on the customers of Consilium, with the intention of improving their experience and ensuring that we provide them with the most appropriate solution for their needs

  • Usage of departmental mandatory documentation such as market sheets and checklists and adherence to departmental procedures

  • Liaise with other members of the division as required to assess client requirements and broking strategy on any particular risk. 

  • Assist with the setting and monitoring of sales targets, both personal and team 

  • Resolve issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively 

  • Carry out reviews to ensure the quality of both personal outputs and those of the wider team 

  • Maintaining the company’s electronic filing system in a timely and accurate manner

  • Provide any necessary ad hoc support to Team Lead and other team members 

  • Providing and undertaking training as required by line manager

  • Mandatory completion of company prescribed learning and adherence to FCA rules.

  • Compliance with all company procedures

Role Requirements

  • Familiarity and adherence to London market regulations (desirable)

  • Ability to review a London Market Reform Contract and identify errors in others’ work (desirable)

  • Highly customer and results driven goals, good commercial sense 

  • At least 5 A-C Grade (or equivalent) GCSE’s including English and Maths

  • Insurance qualifications e.g. CII (desirable) 

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook essential
