Finance Business Partner - Aventum

Preparation of management accounts and provide further insights to variance analysis and discussions
Review of insurance and non-insurance related expenditure
Treasury related duties including cash flow reporting and forecasting
Assist with the preparation of tax related returns
Assist with the preparation of regulatory returns
Working with non-finance stakeholders to ensure improvements of all financial reporting tasks
Liaising with auditors
Supporting the implementation of new systems
Assisting with the development of reporting framework, and designing controls around the reporting process to drive quality and excellence
Support the wider Finance team in helping to alleviate operational/transactional queries
Any ad hoc projects
Skills & Experience
At least 3 years post qualified experience
Good understanding of the insurance industry
Strong understanding of business flows through to financial reporting with the ability to analyse the performance of the business
Strong presentation skills
Advanced MS Excel skills (financial analysis, graphs, pivot tables, vlookups)
The successful candidate would have high level communication skills and be able to produce documentation to a high standard. You should display a high attention to detail and able to challenge the current status quo
