Product Developer - Aventum

Role Summary

We have launched over 30 products since we started trading and are disrupting the insurance market through our agility and speed, making difficult products easy to trade and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

We have an opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated product developer to join our team and assist our Head of Product Development in managing and developing our innovative digital product line and trading platform. 

Key responsbilities

  • Working with key stakeholders to deliver new and innovative products using the INSTANDA platform.

  • Maintaining and updating the existing live product catalogue

  • Ensuring that Reporting Requirements are fulfilled either by writing SQL queries or providing the correct data points for the MI Development Team.

  • Managing customer usage and signing up onto the trading platform

  • Support the trading teams to resolve any system issues

  • Assist in the management of data and integrations between our different platforms

  • Full training will be provided on the software and the development tools necessary to enhance the software system.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar or related role

  • Use of INSTANDA platform highly desirable, although similar platform experience would be acceptable for the right candidate.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential

  • Knowledge of underwriting rating/pricing methodologies and solutions is beneficial.

  • Experience in delivering solutions within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team would be beneficial

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL; HTML/CSS

  • Passionate about the use of technology to improve customers’ experience

  • Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, strong team player.
