We are thrilled to share that Phil Wood, from our very own Novus, is taking on a new role here at Aventum Group. Please join us in congratulating Phil on his recent promotion to Chief Partnerships Officer.

This newly created position is a testament to Phil’s exceptional leadership and expertise in consumer business, spanning over 30 years.

Planning for the Future

In his new role, Phil will spearhead the oversight and support for Aventum’s booming entrepreneurial partnership and consumer product-focused Synergy deals across the Group, with a particular focus on developing partnerships across Asia.

Synergy, our innovative platform designed for brokers and underwriters seeking independence from the corporate structure, will surely flourish under Phil’s guidance. By sourcing and developing new partnership opportunities for the Group, particularly in Asia, Phil will support those new and existing teams to be the best they can be.

Formerly the co-founder and CEO of Novus, Rokstone’s Consumer Affinity and Warranty business, Phil played an essential role in building Novus into what it is today. While he will remain involved in the Consumer vertical at Rokstone, stepping into his new role for the Group will allow Phil to maximise the impact of his experience.

John Eldridge, Managing Director at Aventum Group, believes Phil’s expertise is critical to the success of the newly created position. He said,

“As the number and strategic importance of our consumer partnerships and Synergy deals grow, it is essential that we have cohesive oversight and support dedicated to their ongoing development and success.”

While Phil embarks on his new chapter, we are pleased to confirm that John McGonigle will now lead all Consumer business within Rokstone, including Novus. With 28 years of underwriting experience in the Warranty and Affinity markets, John has been a key contributor as Chief Underwriting Officer at Novus for the last four years.

Congratulations to both Phil and John on their new roles. We cannot wait to see how the future plays out.
