We don’t enter awards for the accolades. We do it to benchmark ourselves against the best — and once again, Aventum has come out on top.

At the UK Fintech Awards 2025, we were shortlisted in every single category we entered — five in total — and walked away with two major wins. It’s an unprecedented result that underlines what we already know: our people are driving real, industry-defining change.

These awards recognise pioneers. People and teams who don’t just follow trends — they set them. And at Aventum, innovation isn’t a department. It’s in our DNA.

🏆 Innovator of the Year — James Fairgrieve

As Head of Innovation, James has redefined what’s possible across our ecosystem. He’s the driving force behind the Aventum Innovation Lab and the creator of the Bear Cave — our internal Dragon’s Den-style incubator for bold thinking.

With more than two decades of experience, James has embedded cutting-edge tech into our strategy from day one. Judges praised his ability to deliver innovation at scale, nurture ideas from the ground up, and make disruption deliverable.

🏆 Team of the Year — The Aventum Leadership Team

Formed in 2024 and led by CTO Hasani Jess, this team has moved at lightning pace — scaling to represent almost a quarter of Aventum’s global workforce in less than a year. Together, they’ve delivered a suite of API- and AI-powered platforms, including the award-nominated ATOMX.
