The Power of Recognition: Maria Rogers Wins First Ever Aventum CEO Award

At Dare to Discover 2025, we introduced a new tradition: our very own Applaud Awards, created to recognise standout individuals across the business.

Taking home one of the top awards of the day - the very first CEO Award - was Maria Rogers, whose impact over the past 12 months has been exceptional.

Selected from a strong shortlist of finalists from across the Aventum Group, Maria impressed the judges with her strategic thinking, sharp analysis and undeniable consistency.

Meet the Winner

Maria, from the Delegated Risk Solutions team at Consilium, has been instrumental in securing and onboarding major third-party clients, including placing a complex new client within just nine weeks.

CEO David Bearman said, “She continues to deliver excellence, achieving an impressive 100% client retention, and her win reflects her diligence, skill and professionalism she brings to everything she does.”

Accepting the award, Maria was quick to credit the people around her as having the biggest influence on her success, saying she has had some great mentors since starting the business. As for anyone up for an award next year, Maria advised that consistency is key. She said,

“Make sure you’re always hitting deliverables throughout the year and getting across your personal brand and the things you care about most because that will resonate with others in the business.”
