Would You Jump Out of a Plane for Something You Believe In?

It starts with that (maybe not so) simple question.

For 40 brave people from across Aventum Group, the answer is simple. They WILL.

On 26 June, they’ll be suiting up, strapping in and stepping (or more accurately, falling) far outside their comfort zones - all in the name of two incredible causes: Race Against Dementia and Worldwide Cancer Research, Aventum’s chosen charities for 2025.

Together, we are aiming to raise money to help fund vital research into diseases that affect millions of lives every day. And we need your help to get there.

The Mission

We have all been touched by cancer or dementia in some way. These are diagnoses that rewrite futures - that rob people of time and, so often, hope.

But there is something we can do. We can help fund the kind of bold, boundary-pushing research that both charities are doing. The kind that doesn’t settle for ‘someday soon’, but fights for NOW.

The jumps take place on 26 June at the Hinton Skydiving Centre in Brackley, running from 9am until 8pm, weather permitting. Takeoffs are throughout the day and see participants soar to 13,000ft before jumping out of the plane with expert instructors.

The flight takes around 15 minutes and after a 20 minute safety briefing, it’s time to Dare to Dive.

Help Us Smash Our Target

Behind every jumper is a story. A reason. A name. They’re not doing it because it’s easy. They’re doing it because raising awareness is worth the nerves. Because asking for donations is worth the discomfort. Because they want to turn adrenaline into action. And you can be part of that story.

Every pound raised will help us get closer to our £20,000 target, and every jump is fuelled by the people who support it.

If someone has shared this article with you, it’s because they’re doing something extraordinary. Sponsor them if you can. Share this if you will. Together, we can turn fear into fundraising and freefall into something far more powerful.

Can I Come and Cheer People On?

Absolutely - we encourage it. But be prepared. Facilities are limited, so we recommend packing for comfort - think layers, snacks and your best motivational energy. Watching friends, family or colleagues take the leap is an experience in itself.
