From Record Setters to Award Finalists at the Insurance Times Awards 2024

Well, this is exciting! The Aventum Group marketing team is a finalist at the prestigious Insurance Times Awards 2024.
Shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year, the recognition is for one of the team's proudest moments - the EC3 Relay. That’s right, it’s the campaign that saw us partner with Guinness World Records and set a new world record right in the heart of Leadenhall Market.
In Case You Missed It
Over three days and two nights back in July 2024, more than 500 participants took turns on a single static bike to create a non-stop relay that raised over £75,000 for Cancer Research UK. The original goal was to raise £50,000 but in true Aventum Group fashion, we went above and beyond.
A Campaign Built on Creativity
This was not just about pedalling for days - it was about doing something different. Something bold. Something people would remember. Working with Guinness World Records to set the record for the Most Participants in a Static Cycle Relay was an innovative move that captured the imagination of our audience and united communities, helping us to raise more than we could have imagined possible.
From the Team That Usually Writes About This Stuff
Normally, marketing teams everywhere (ourselves included) are the ones behind the scenes - putting words and visuals to the exciting campaigns and achievements of their colleagues. But this time? It’s a marketing team, front and centre for the nomination. Being shortlisted for the award reflects the incredible teamwork, creativity and passion that went into making the EC3 Relay a success.
All Eyes on December
Now, it’s full steam ahead to the awards ceremony in December, but whatever the outcome, one thing is for sure - we have already set the bar high and we are ready to keep pushing the limits with everything we do.
Here’s to breaking records, raising money and a marketing team that is maybe the best in the business. OK, we are biased, but who can blame us?
